pcs_junglerescue public beta release
I will put the link back up once the download is fixed.
feel free to d/l it, it will be available on the server as soon as wyz uploads it.

yes it is quite large, it has mostly custom content.
I am reuploading the zip, there was a problem with the cubemaps. check it in about 10-15 mins.
copy the cstrike folder to your Counter-Strike Source folder.Last edited by Vulcan; 03-15-2005 at 05:36 PM.

hey vulc...great looking map...walked through it as both ct and t...
The only problem i had was trying to get the two hosties down low to safety...they dont go up the latters or the rope...
I like all the temple elements and all the sniping locals...again sweet map
Can this be turned into a defuse version too

Yes it can be made into a de map and i plan on doing variations.
Hostages are bugged atm using cs 1.6 ai they have not learned to climb any ladder... I am hoping this is fixed so till they fix it the hosties in the ruins can't be saved till i update the map.

well it seems embedding content into the bsp is not going to happen so easily as i figured. That's probably because i have been picked out of the hat to be the one who experiences all the problems. :/
Trying to get some help from the VERC, hopefully all goes well and if we're lucky after about 26 hours of watching my comp work on generating a nav mesh, maybe it'll be ready..
NOTE: If you want to map DON'T, it's hell down here.

You think you have it hard? Our mod mappers have it 4x as hard... they are doing your jungle, but as a huge map, multiple spawn points, waterfalls, TONS of trees (like deciduoius trees) rivers, lakes, ect.... Such is the world of the Fuedal Japan of Inuyasha :P

lol section. Sniper that's sounds great, I'll check it out. i dunno though since it's a custom mod you get alot of control. Working within CS, that's a whole nother story IMO.
Little Update. A dev from valve is looking into the problem. Hopefully he can make some sense out of what's going on.

Packing everything into one file would be nice, I suppose but if you can create a resource file so the server can serve all the necessary files that should be good enough.
