If I dwnld a full conversion mod, can i still play regular css or am I limited to playing only those servers tht run the mod?

um...if I understand your question right: You can play any mod you download...they are separate "games" so you can switch back and forth between them....
I think i had about 10 dif mods for the original HL at one point..
