I tried.
Started Steam.
1 hour later finished updating.
1/2 hour to update server list.
Several tries to connect.
Finally connected after 1:00 am.
cl_flushentitypacket errors.
Lagged over 1500 ping.
Hung.
Gave up .
Went to bed.

Whether or not those were your friends Psi, then they ruined the game. After 4 consecutive rounds of getting killed in my spawn, I went to play NS.

You don't ever need to do this. Just go to your fav servers list and enter the TG IP.1/2 hour to update server list.Wintermute

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Term
killed in spawn
Definition
i.e. defensive team rushing towards the attackers spawn area to try to kill them inside. This is only possible by completely ignoring that fact that the defenders are suppose to guarding their objectives (i.e. bomb sites or hostages).
Usually a tactic employed by those that can not really hold their own in a firefight and must exploit the situation (i.e. knowing EXACTLY where the enemy spawns and rushing there to kill them instead of using their brain and devising a tactical plan to defend their objectives).
