Re: Tourney Final D vs. F -- Piranesi
Hey, you didn't talk about our strats! We tried to come up with a plan to nullify your scouts, and we did so successfully.
It was fun.. Can't wait to see the demos! Please post them when possible. |

Re: Tourney Final D vs. F -- Piranesi
I already apologized to my team, and now I apologize to you, Darwin, for unexpectedly not being able to make it to the final. Sounds like F-Shock gelled well and fought hard. It's killing me that after 6 weeks of tourny games I missed the final. Such is life.
Was a great tourney. |

Re: Tourney Final D vs. F -- Piranesi
Yes, Tempus' strat for giving up the roof was excellent. I kept chuckling thinking about you guys hitting the roof and wondering where the resistance was.
I would like to say I played an excellent first round as T in which I forgot I had the bomb and had the whole team yelling at me as I tried to take the balcony above bombsite B. LOL. In my defense I did eventually plant. :P And I FINALLY brought my mojo: I was 15-1 at one point....I don't care particularly about the kd ratio per se, but at least I feel like I was helping my team and it allowed me to buy my teamies some weapons in the later rounds. Swoop was a great addition to our team and was able to hop in and fit right in. Great game everyone. We had a lot of tense moment.

Re: Tourney Final D vs. F -- Piranesi
Was a fun tournament...addict was missed but he was none the less one of the reasons we made it as far as we did. Basically we knew that to try to out snipe sniper or batman would be lunacy, and team Darwin is deadly from a distance as a whole, so we thought that by not giving them any long shots we would use their strengths against them, that is force the scoped weapons into CQ combat and take our chances as temp mentioned. We tried to stay low and hidden and then when the enemy showed their intentions, we tried to move in from multiple sides. As ts we thought that if we stuck together we would overwhelm the three or four cts defending either site, again b was the site of choice since it is tighter, thus removing the advantage of any scouts they may have. All in all the strat worked.
