Re: Your best bind.......
bind "l" "incrementvar cl_showfps 0 1 1" Shows FPS, bandwidth and choke
bind "F5" "incrementvar cl_crosshaircolor 0 4 1" Changes the color of cross hairs, very usefull at the beginning of a map

Re: Your best bind.......
Recently I punched holes in my computer with a 223 out of frustration... but I had a few binds I found once used I could not live with out.
BTW these are from memory(or lack of memory) so if they are off you will have to tweak to figure out bind "k" "buy flash; use weapon_flashbang" K was the back arrow on my mx700 mouse I think mouse 6 button on the logitech app bind "l" "slot3" l was the forward arrow on mx700 slot3 = knife FTW!!! bind "mouse3" "buy hegrenade;use weapon_hegren" Again I am not sure if that is correct . But mouse3 is mouse wheel click. last but not least the always famous bind "mwheelup" "+attack" bind "mwheeldown" "+attack" those of you who know, know. those of you who don't started CS on source. I had some really fun sniper ones from 1.3-5 but I think they stopped working in 1.6, you old guys might remember the mouse2 pressed and held = zoom and fire upon release of mouse2 cycle your pistol/knife and back to awp. Talk about fast awping regular players could not compete with that bind/script. //Niko P.S. I will be back tomorrow Dec 10th my new egg order should be here I finally came up with the funds to get a new gaming machine. So all you girls put on your try pants cause its gonna get ugly real quick.\\ PPS New Logitech G9 == death for ednos |

Re: Your best bind.......
a little off topic, but does anyone here use anything different from WASD for movement keys? if so which ones (gamepads anyone?)

Re: Your best bind.......
Tonk,
I use the belkin nostromo series I had the n50 I currently use the n52 and I have a n52te on pre order from newegg. It is night and day between these speed pads and a key board. The belkin speed pad (like spar said about his layout) has far more buttons at your disposal than the standard wasd. Take a peek and right now they are like 7$ on rebate at newegg... I think they are clearing them out for the new arival of the n52te. //Niko |

I have tried to switch to WASD but I can't get used to it. I might have to try Spars RDFG method out. Doubt it will be much better for me. It's annoying because I have to scoot my keyboard way to the left of my desk for numpad to be comfortable. I also use that on all the BF games I've played...only game I've been able to use WASD on was when I played WOW for a little while. |

bind "kp_end" "scout; primammo" //Niko I am not allowed to post url's Google this (fps banana "css buygen") Section, Yeah the n50 lacked a few things such as switchable profiles and keys. I used that for quakeIII and cs1.3 it was fine untill the n52 came around. 14 keys 8 directions on the d-pad(4 useable) plus a thumb space bar type button and one orange button, and a mouse wheel. Also 4 profiles so thats 20 buttons + wheel * 4 profiles... I think 80 is enough for me. I do use 2 profiles 1 for sniping 1 for regular assault type play. I find myself leaving dead keys sometimes on games. I think if you consolidate most of the time 1 profile with 20 keys is plenty for the average gamer. |

Re: Your best bind.......
lol, race for the scout through a bind? Wow, hey, consider asking your teammates if you can use it next round? But if you really want it, you should bind mousewheel up and down to it as well =P

Re: Your best bind.......
I bind it because on the Terrorist team it's the third rifle and on the Counter-Terrorist team it's the second rifle, and I always get confused. I bind the AK47, M4A1, and Scout to three different keys so I never get it screwed up.
