Re: Restricted Weapons

The only thing I despise about the scout is its inaccuracy at long range. I mean seriously if it had the same accuracy of the awp i would be fine with it (yes awp striaght line fire while standing up while scout can miss and that happens way to much). I mean i can handle it being two shots to kill that gives them a chance but to make it miss so much sucks.

Re: Restricted Weapons

scout has better no scope aim... if u try awp-no scope... u better be right next to the guy... and even than u'll probably miss... and thats y i like the scout better

noobs

Thats why you crouch or stand still for 5-10 secs. You get perfect accuracy, even AT long range with it.

FYI.... Michigan State SWAT teams have a semi auto .50 cal sniper rifle they are using. They have used it to punch holes in concrete walls. Gas vented to deal with recoil. And a catcher basket for the casings. It's also 4.5 feet long with a counter weight at the end of the barrel to keep it level. Nice gun still kicks like a mule though.
Has enough power to mushroom a V8 big block.

This is not a support or against bringing the auto sniper or awp back they do unbalance the game imo.

FYI, if you're referring to the Michigan State Police ES Team, then I doubt that they're using a .50 rifle to snipe with... It's a special purpose rifle that is not intended for use on individuals. They have actual sniper rifles for that... I don't think you'll ever see any good organizations (added "good" to exclude terrorists, militias and other irregular organizations) except the military using a .50 to snipe with...

I was talking to someone about Barrett rifles and the fact that although they're large, precise rifles, they are NOT necessarily sniper rifles.

Re: Restricted Weapons

Could this be the rifle said SWAT team uses?
http://www.geocities.com/landofsnipe...rrett82ENG.htm
I remember I heard about .50 cal snipers and I researched them a few years ago and I think this is one of the most popular in the world.

More than likely. But, again, it's not intended for use by police to snipe.

BTW, here's the real website for Barrett Rifles

Re: Restricted Weapons

Yea, the main use for a .50 rifle is an anti-material, if you use them to snipe in say, a hostage situation, you don't risk you guaruntee dangerous overpenetration.
