Re: What is EVERYONES Problem?
All that's required is trust.
So, the question becomes: how do we re-establish the trust?

Re: What is EVERYONES Problem?
Hrm, I'm not sure anyone who posted in here was actually in the captain's game last night (besides section8, root, and myself)..... regardless, I have not actually observed any animosity between any players here. Root just seemed a little distracted last night, maybe he had some personal things to take care of, but in the end I know everyone here respects one another on one level or another, and if not please discuss your issues with this person directly instead of trying to go around them.

Re: What is EVERYONES Problem?
I was in last night's game when Root got upset and I'm afraid it was because of my "Tactical Rush". If it was, then I appologize and promise never to do it again. I only thought it was anacceptable manuever since we were down 8 to 2 in a captains game and I had performed a similar tactic with Root a couple nights before. Once again, if this was my fault, Root I appologize for disrespecting you. Those of us that truley love tactical game play love your strictness.

Re: What is EVERYONES Problem?
yes, i believe that we should reinstate the application process. and better yet, i believe we ALL should do it again. supporting and non-supporting, members and non-members. i believe this will create a stronger "distinction" of who were are and what are intentions are.

I agree that Root does an amazing job as an admin. He's gotta be the bad guy, and people don't like the bad guy. I am sure that he can think of times that he should have handled a situation differently, but I think the key is that he handled it period. I've talked with him a few times about his lack of respect, and I think it sucks. He is an asset to the community, and he is one of the reasons why the tactical gaming hasn't completely gone to the "WTF is this buy time, that rule is stupid" group that everyone sees on a pretty regular basis.
Root, keep on truckin' and don't get discouraged... Wherever there is one person that is complaining about you behind your back, there are five of us in front of you waiting to shake your hand and thank you. Root has been at the top of the list for a golden lemming for a while, but I think that he deserves his own award that he can tout amongst his elite British friends. ![]()

Re: What is EVERYONES Problem?
I really feel that doing a process of some sort to wear a tg tag should be instated. But the captains games if done properly are a big help to everybody on the server. They teach everyone how the PCS style of play should be, If done properly. I've taken a couple days of break from CS so i have not seen anything recently but i know things were becoming ever more difficult with the onslaught of new players coming to the servers. It's just a matter of admining and being a fellow teacher. Even among tg members we have alot to learn from each other and we should all be more willing to learn from those who are proven PCS players.

Re: What is EVERYONES Problem?
I'd like to see it go private again on one of the servers, but I don't like the idea of opening the application process for everyone again. Maybe just for new players?
I've filled out like 5 of those here over the years, and I'm running out of bull to try to trick Apophis into letting me in. If I have to fill out another one, I may not be accepted again for lack of new material.
