Re: Admin/Temp-Admin Menu!

Not sure but for Italy I would think something along the lines of "Terrorists are to stay out of apartments and do not go downstairs or into cellar" and "CTs, there are to be absolutely NO HE grenades in the hostage house for any circumstances"
I think those are the accepted boundaries, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Also you might want to word the T statement differently and add a few more, but that's a start.

I think those are too strict to be console messages. How about:
"Terrorists should defend hostages. Generally, this means not exiting the end of the long hall, going into or past the cellar door, or into the apartments."

"CTs should avoid throwing HE grenades near the hostages at ALL costs."

Remember that TG does not have hard boundaries. They're dynamic and so every situation can be different. There are times when it's appropriate for T's to be in the apartments, or the cellar. There might also be a time when a CT needs to throw an HE into the hossie house...

Absolutes are never true, right?

Re: Admin/Temp-Admin Menu!

True, I was just setting something to chip away and mold. I do like your versions better though, they're broader and easier for someone just joining the server and not knowing the rules.

Why don't you host it in your TG webspace and we can set up a link to it in the Downloads section?

Re: Admin/Temp-Admin Menu!

OK... they are now viewable at:
http://members.tacticalgamer.com/~mo...MonkerzScript/

JUST REMEMBER IF YOU DO CUT AND PASTE THESE....THEY HAVE TO BE SAVED AS A (.CFG)!

I will be adding some information to them hopefully today to include the different map binds...and you will have to redo yours if you get them before i have changed them.

Re: Admin/Temp-Admin Menu!

I have made a couple of changes in the scripting...

I have taken the liberty to add the following rules for the different maps we play here...I know i have missed a couple maps, but i was geting no responses to what should be put in here...and also i am in class and really dont want to work..lol

As of now...instead of the orignal 5 files including the read.cfg that were made...there are 19 files....not more than 2MB total. I will update all this as soon as i get to the house today.

These rules or boundaries are availible in @say or say!

Rules/Boundaries are as Follows:

cs_italy 1. "Terrorists should defend hostages. Generally, this means not exiting the end of the long hall, going into or past the cellar door, or into the apartments, UNLESS hostages are mobile." 2. "CTs should avoid throwing HE grenades near the hostages at ALL costs."

de_prodigy 1. CTs should defend bomb sites. Generally, this means not entering garage, or exiting long hall."

de_aztec 1. "CTs should defend bomb sites. Generally, this means not going past double doors, not going across bridge, or past bridge in water."

de_cbble 1. "CTs should defend bomb sites. Generally, this means not exiting left hall, not going up middle ramp, and not entering bomb site B hallway."

cs_office 1. "Terrorists should defend hostages. Generally, this means terrorists should stay in building, and avoid going down long stair case, UNLESS hostages are mobile." 2. "CTs should avoid throwing HE grenades near the hostages at ALL costs."

de_chateau 1. "CTs should defend bomb sites. Generally, this means not entering wine cellar, not exiting middle B, or being in water at all, UNLESS bomb has been planted."

cs_compound 1. "Ts should defend hostages. Generally, this means terrorists should stay within compound walls." 2. CTs should avoid throwing HE grenades near the hostages at ALL costs." 3. "CTs should avoid shooting blindly into hostage house."

de_dust2 1. "CTs should defend bomb sites. Generally this means not entering double doors at long A, not past the palm tree up the middle, or out terrorists side of tunnel, UNLESS bomb has been planted"

de_piranesi 1. "CTs should defend bomb sites. Generally this means not entering terrorists archway on the roof, not entering sniper window, and not entering terrorists doorway at A, UNLESS bomb is planted."

cs_havana 1. "Terrorists should defend hostages. Generally this means not being on ground level, not jumping out of window, and not falling through the hole, UNLESS hostages are mobile." 2. "CTs should avoid throwing HE grenades near the hostages at ALL costs."

cs_militia_tm2 1. "Terrorists should defend hostages. Generally this means not be past rocks in front yard, or not past second elbow in sewer." 2. "CTs should avoid throwing HE grenades near the hostages at ALL costs." 3. "CTs should avoid shooting blindly through overhead door."

de_train 1. "CTs should defend bomb sites. Generally this means not going past sand bags at A, not going inside far door at A,and no further than ladder to A."

Re: Admin/Temp-Admin Menu!

Appreciate the help guys...all the corrections mentioned here have been fixed...I am going to test it and host it. Anyone who has the script...plz delete all the cfg files in the monkerzscript folder and replace with updated ones!

1. The numbering is off in the cs_militia_tm2 menu.
it labels the options 1. 2. 2. instead of 1. 2. 3.
All the bind in this work correctly however.

2. Under the reguler say menu, in the de_train
sub-menu, it does not recognize the bind for
the CTs. It works under the console say, but
shows up as regular say...hard to word..lol.

Suggestions...again only if you want to

1. Say something covering the fact that when bomb
is down Cts may take shortest path to go gaurd it
even if it means breaking suggested boundries.

2. Once bomb is planted, all suggested boundries go
out the window. Ct can go anywhere as long as
the objective is upheld...in this case "GO DEFUSE
TEH BOMB"...lol

3. Would it be difficult to add a back option along
with the cancel. The back would got to the
previous menu. For example I select the wrong
map name, I could just hit back and select the
correct one without going through the string of
menus.

All in all...This is a wonderful tool. Thank you for taking the time to do this for the improvement of our play on the servers.
