Boost your FPS...
Thanks to enemydown for this. If any of you has any probs with fps, you might try some of these settings. Some of them don't make you game look diff but do boost performance...

Re: Boost your FPS...
Do you know which ones require cheats enabled? Would it just not use those settings if cheats were disabled or would it think that you're cheating?

The command will say, this requires sv_cheats to be enabled when you try to use it. It won't think your cheating.

Re: Boost your FPS...
That page might as well say "Install CS 1.6. Play that."
You'd be suprised how ugly CS:S looks just after setting mat_bumpmap to 0, let alone disabling every other graphical effect.
Maybe just look at the last set (commands that don't make it look any different), even so you're probably better off with what you have, especially if you like the pretty.

Aye
I'd rather have gameplay than looks anyday.
HonestGeorge W Bush Jnr looked and sounded shocked when he heard that a Brazilian had died on the underground in London due to the new terrorism laws being passed, but was later heard saying "So how many exactly is a Brazillion?".
