When I try to connect to server 2, I get this, and get disconnected:

The AK, for example. But it's never happened before, and neither with any of the other custom models, which is why I found it odd.

A while back they started to enforce the use of stock model skins, so that everyone has the same advantage as everyone else. Thats what your problem is.... This was way before you joined, so dont worry about it.

Any custom skin in your skins folder can cause the kick.

It may be that it only checks for model consistency after a restart....as part of the boot process. That could explain why we don't see it that often... Originally Posted by AzzMan

Delete your custom ak model, and steam should replace it for you automatically with the "consistent" one.
