How hard would it be to turn the server on, say ONCE A MONTH, on a Friday or Saturday night and just let people play? I'd help do whatever...

I'm pretty *SURE* I could fit a once a month thing in. :beer:

It is a game that has lived its long and healthy life, but we all knew it couldn't last forever, now we should let it die with dignity. A *LOT* of great people have come and gone with it. I bet old school N42(ah, rose colored glasses) will forever be the standard to which I hold up any online gaming group, and for me, has yet to be truely replaced, if it ever will.

I saw a cobra on their 10 minutes ago, shame it's late over here...it's normally busy 7-11 pm gmt every night..but this weekend'll will be absolutley dead, so don't expect much, it's LAN weekend.

Oh and the pass has changed relatively recently, but I think members can see it in the forums......go on, dial up across the pond, it'll give us a chance..

Wow, that's extremely depressing news. No matter how expected it was. I still remember when BADKARMA first told me about N42. Ahhh, I was so young then. So very long ago. I wish I could have been a part of it then. Unfortunate. Wish I had a computer so I could play again. Unfortunate. I spose I should remember the good times. Almost seems like a good thing though. All the last games I played here before I moved just felt forced and unfun where one team was just grossly superior and there were never any even slightly evenly matched games. People would come in and leave about 10 seconds later in some pathetic attempt to get a good game going. It was kind of like seeing a rabbit with three legs that had been chewed off and no eye lids pushing itself down the road with it's one lame leg that was left, and with every push part of it's brain is scrapin against the ground because a hunk of it's skull is missing. Plus it's intestines are hanging out dragging along with it and there's blood and puke everywhere and you're looking at it screamin, "Just die you once great bastard! You can't run anymore! You'll never eat another carrot! You'll never love any more rabbits back at the burrow and father mighty rabbit litters that will get eatin by foxes unless they beat the odds at such a young age! Just die for the love of god " But it keeps going because it's brain doesn't work anymore and it's just a series of mindless reflexes now and it doesn't know it's dead and you just have to either wait for it's leg to give out and it'll eventually stop breathing or you can drive home and borrow your grandfathers shovel to go back and BASH it out of it's misery. All in all, it's a sad sight of a once great symbol of fertility. I'm extremely sad to see it go.

I had some fun on the CS server. Sure GR is what hooked me on TG back when it was still new but I did run quite a few games on the CS server.

Hell, I even cleaned up in CS at the bash
