Question!

I started using some fun custom weapon skins last night. Last night I connected to server #2 without a hitch. This morning I upgrade my Glock and p228 models, and try to connect to server #1. I get:

Server is enforcing consistency for model w_eq_flashbang_thrown.

I delete my grenade models, even through they worked last night, and try again and:

Server is enforcing consistency for model w_pist_glock.mdl.

Um, what? I delete THAT, figuring that since it was new this morning and!

Server is enforcing consistency for model w_mach_m249.mdl

I then try to connect to server #2 and that's a no go. Any help?

Re: Question!

I think your answer is our servers enforce model consistency!

I'd get rid of all the custom models you put in there.

We don't allow custom models here. Anyone that reads the forums would know this.

Delete the entire weapons cache, and let Steam handle it. Or uninstall all the updated models.

Re: Question!

Ah well, that's that then :P IT was fun while it lasted.

BUT, to your servers enforcing it, why was I able to connect last night with 'em?

It usually takes a bit for the server to catch on. I played with the PAF pack for a day before the enforcement script caught it. After that, it caught it every time.
