You can go past the middle box, you can go down long hall, and you can step into the cellar if these actions support the immediate tactics for the overall objective.

Re: No Boundaries? Tell me More!

The fuss is because people tend to over scrutinize everything and every move of every player in every map every day and every night!
AND it seems that a few players can not come to terms with the idea that in order to be a team player on this server, you must support your team and objective. It really is very easy to understand, grasp and to play correctly.

Boundries are limited only in scope to the current objective. Hell guys, if you know that 4 of the enemy team is hunkered 5 feet into the cellar and you know that if you flash them and blind them, then you can kill the hell out of them, and you know that your team is still appropriately guarding the objective, then go for the kills. This is not kill hunting, this is eliminating a threat that needs to be eliminated. If you dont take this advantage then shame on you. If you have someone trapped, or have them at a chokepoint, or are in position to really surprise them, then take the advantage. Just dont be doing this when it is 6 of them vs. you alone. At this point you do need to be near the objective in a place that you can accurately defend the objective without comprimising the objective.
This is clear as day.

The only reason I can see for getting this far away from the hosties is, they are taking the hosties and your on the chase, or there is a ripe M4 laying there on a dead corpse and all you have is a glock (drool).

Re: No Boundaries? Tell me More!

I have sat by idol, reading and listining to all the complaining of the pcs rules,( in some cases it is a vital part of communication),but it also has a tendancy to erode the idea's this server puts forward.

I dont always agree with the admins but arguing with them is wrong IMO.
Now lets get this thread over with and do some gaming

Re: No Boundaries? Tell me More!

Arguing with admins is not wrong, its necessary. They are not perfect, they are not always right. Respect is due to them, and if they say thats final at that level of admin it is. But you can never just quietly assume that the admins are right without fully understanding why. Maybe they lose touch over time, maybe one of them went crazy and noone found out. Maybe they accidentally enabled cookie remembrances on this website and their kid got on.

Apophis is the sole exception to that (maybe to an extent), as he is the cornerstone of TG, and arguing with him whether or not something is TG is like arguing with your physics teacher that standing under a tree is the best thing to do in a thunder storm (true story, it wasnt me).
