*sigh* my friend honest to God must be retarded. I don't know how it came up, but he truly believes that hiding under a tree is the best thing to do during a lightning storm, and that getting flat and low in the middle of a field is the worst thing to do. I took him to my physics teacher, who agreed with me, he asked our wrestling coach, who grew up in the plains and knew how to deal with lightning, and he agreed with me, I asked several people, my US history teacher. And he still thinks that they are all wrong.

I don't think you mean arguing.

Discussing an admin decision in the approriate forum is well within everyone's rights, and is an important step to learning, for both the admin and the player.

I've blown calls before, and been called on it, via PM. I've made good calls, and been asked why I made that call, again via PM. I'm a better admin for it. All that is healthy, constructive, and necessary.

Arguing with an admin is not.

As for crazy, you have any idea how far we have to go before anyone notices?

I mean, you guys have driven Root insane. He mutters to himself, things like "noone understands PCS", and "Ban them all", and "Can't someone come up with a plan?"
All well and good on PCS Server 1, but the regulars at the pub down the street are starting to get weirded out.

I can run around carrying the banhammer, wearing a crown, and calling myself "The King of Cheese" and still look sane comparatively speaking.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.

I feel kind of bad for root's condition.
He must be bad off being that he makes up these weird rules and replaces old ones:
Example:
(OLD RULE) RULE #3 You are REQUIRED to work as a team
(NEW RULE) root : RULE #3 You are REQUIRED to work as a tent

Re: No Boundaries? Tell me More!

Darn you. I can't ever win. I meant that poorly worded messages, in any format, don't do anything to boost the level of respect a player is going to show you.

BTW, root, your gramatical harrasing has made me type slower, and use correct grammar in most of my posts. It is weird that someone can have an affect like that.

A comma or two wouldn't have gone amiss. Is your version of Word up to date? Your spell checker doesn't appear to have picked up all your errors.

Re: No Boundaries? Tell me More!

Plus once you think about it root : RULE #3 You are REQUIRED to work as a tent makes plenty of sense as a rule. Every part of a tent has to work together to keep the tent standing, if one part fails in its duties then the whole tent will collapse. This applies perfectly to PCS, if one person on the team doesn't support the team then generally the whole team will fail.
