Re: What constitutes PCS? When to slay or slap?

yea, it really defeats the perpose to have that stuff on a PCS server. But then again sometimes u can use that to your advantage. Take the Becon for example you run one way and the rest or your team goes the other talk about makeing a distraction. lol

Re: What constitutes PCS? When to slay or slap?

We've removed all TK punish options, with the exception of slay. We may decide to remove slay as well in future, but we certainly won't be adding beacon, fire or any other silly options back for players.

I like the idea of taking 30% of the TKer's cash.
Money retibutions are the best, and it doesn't cripple your team for the next round as much as a slay.

Money retribution is an incentive to make sure you are TK'd. We (the admins) don't like it, so we won't be adding it.

Re: What constitutes PCS? When to slay or slap?

WHAT?! No timebombs, or firebombs? *sobs*

Seriously though, they don't belong on the server. Personally I feel that slay even goes a bit too far, but on the public server it helps keep some people in check. I say it should be removed from the protected server.

On the note of slaying. I am completely for autoslaying the team failing to adhere to their objectives. And this leads me to the most ironic part about TGCS.

If the defending team sticks properly to their objective, then the game is basically a tactical deathmatch.

Any member of a defending team living when the offensive team completes their objective, then the defender obviously was not doing their job. If they are, they will die before the opposing's objective is accomplished. It's just a deathmatch server with the defending team alternating between defending locations and people.

Now, before anybody freaks out on me for the above, take it with a grain of salt :P

If proper PCS is being executed, then an entire team should be dead for the round to end.

Re: What constitutes PCS? When to slay or slap?

That leaves two options.

1) Be a fragmonkey and adhere to the objectives.
2) Be a pubby and live when you fail an objective.

*tries to hide a tear* :P
