Will this ever be put on server 1? I would love to try it out.

It seems like it might be a good way to "force" people to play PCS on server 1.

That's what server 2 is for! Server 2 has the perks, and the only way to get on it is to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of PCS on server 1.

Think of S2 as the incentive.

Exactly. If you can't die to defend the bomb being planted, you're hardly likely to die to defend the VIP.

Whistler - I've edited your link out for the time being - I'm trying to sort out a download that doesn't involve installing vapour and signing up for an account.

Roger that. I'll wait on the download for now, it seems you have to sign up for something to get it to install.

You do, and some people won't want to do that. What I did, was download the 55MB server package, and install the maps from there.

Edit : I've changed the server.cfg, to enable unfair teams. This is designed for VIP vs all, when there are only a handful of players on. It's not there to be abused during normal gaming.

VIP MOD

The mod is now installed, and the maps are ready for PCS Proven players to download. Non-PCS Proven players do not need to install these maps, as VIP is only available on server 2.

VIP MOD DOWNLOAD INFORMATION

You can download the VIP maps in the following ways :

1. Download from my webspace. (52MB)

2. Download the vapour content system. You will receive any updates to the VIP mod when they are released in the same way that steam updates CSS. (Approx 10MB for Vapour, plus approx 52MB for content)

Edit : I've just noticed this on the steam forums. It was posted by one of the VIP mod dev team :

Maybe I'll find another server running it if I'm lucky... I'd at least like to try it out, even if It does go apenuts deathmatch style.

Alternatively, demonstrate your worth as a PCS Proven player, and gain access to server 2. The choice is yours.

It would be great if we can get more PCS Proven players on server 2 tomorrow night. We've had some excellent games tonight, and we haven't even played all the as_ maps.
