I'd like to remind everyone that as regulars and established members of the community, we are held to this standard more strictly than the random pubbie. I notice too often regulars thinking that because we're playing on a team full of regulars that we can relax on this rule. This is certainly not the case.
I'm 20; I live with 3 other college students, and there's rarely a conversation that takes place in my house without excessive swearing. However, when I hit my voicecomm key, that's never going to happen, and when I connect to TG, I don't expect to hear it.

People say that playing video games is escapism. For me, TG is my escape to a home where I can expect to interact with mature individuals who hold themselves to a high standard of etiquitte and mutual respect for their fellow gamer. We are the black-tie (with guns) affair of gaming, compared to the drunken kdr-frat-party-pubs which litter Steam. We are a community of James Bonds, lethal, cunning, intelligent, and high-class.

Let's leave the doritos and bud at the door when we connect, pick up our Martini and USP, and enjoy a good clean game.

I totally eat and drink (not alcohol) while playing. Sometimes I even wear that black suit and a tie. Mmm!

As for the language matter.... I'll admit that I'm an occasional offender (though I always apologize when I catch myself... or someone else catches me). I hear people cuss in RL all the time, and it doesn't eally bother me (unless it's really excessive and unneccesary).

Like people have repeatedly said here, the lack of vulgar language is to uphold a respectable image and environment, and it helps bring out our unique maturity!

no really, the new guy they picked to be bond made the statement that he doesnt like handguns or any gun for that matter, they kill people....and in my book if you dont like guns you more then likely dont like girls

They were going to film a scene with him driving the Aston Martin, he gets in the car and says "I can't drive a manual transmission". Then he got his front teeth kicked out during a fight scene. This guy must come from Roots part of the country.

Returning to the topic, Dirtboy - damn is not foul language.

Members who swear on the server (voice or text) can expect a ban for their first offence (read : no warning, no slay, no kick). I don't care that the swear filter prevents the word appearing.

This is an official exception to the SOP's, which state a warning will always be given first.

I think a ban on first offense is a little rough. I'd like to think that we're all human...Lord knows I've had the tendency to say a word or two after being ambushed, shot in the head, etc.
