Last night was a great night. For like 3 hours, from the moment I got on until when I got off (like 9:30pm-12:30am), there was awesome game play.

Al_Capone, Kamer, Casca, Apex, Eggplant, Ghostman, Sythara, and myself were the main ones who stayed throughout the night. (for those who I might have left out, sorry! I just used the names off a screenshot I took :P )

The play was constant, and not only fun but tactical. While there was a degree of joking and a hint of a relaxed environment (which doesn't hurt, as long as it isn't too much), there was a consistant objective-based play. People would watch where they needed to, and half the time we didn't even need to say anything, because we knew where everyone is at, etc. When backup was called for, everyone would rally to assist, and one man would simply know to stay to watch out for possible distractions.

It was also intense gaming. There were strategic plans that kept everyone on their toes. The defenders didn't always sit right on the objective, but remained within a distance everyone found reasonable. It kept the game fresh, unpredictable, and fun.

And this held steady through multiple maps. de_spirits, de_view, de_penstock, cs_militia_tm2, de_dust2...

I just wanted to bring this up to point out that there is always great gaming going on in our servers. And honestly, that was some of the most fun I have had in a long time. Thanks to everyone who was there, and the community for providing that.

and I had such a good KDR... like 4:1. Except for my accidental friendly fire Only team score matters! And that was usually good too!

I was on for quit a while before Poe got on and when people started to leave I though that everyone might leave but I was glad to see that several stayed to play on. Last night had to be the best 3 hours i have ever had playing css. I thank those that made the game play fun and interesting. Hope that it can happen again.
