Tactical Planning Revolutionized?
Check this out.
http://www.fpsbanana.com/?section=vi...tools.main.351 Thoughts? Discuss here! I think it's interesting, but I don't have the time to experiment with it just yet.

Re: Tactical Planning Revolutionized?
It's a great tool for BF2 matches when we face other communities I don't know how it would work out in CS:S (perhaps better).

Re: Tactical Planning Revolutionized?
That looks like it could be really cool, I think it could help alot of people who have a hard time verbalizing their plans.
Plus Root says he's always looking for reasons to add more time to the begining of rounds! |

Re: Tactical Planning Revolutionized?
Well, I downloaded it. The title is "ATC for Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow."
Dunno why it's in the CS category, but that really sucks because it looked neat. EDIT: Or can it be used for CSS???..... Another EDIT: I cannot figure out how to use this for CSS. Last edited by whistler; 05-04-2006 at 12:33 PM. |

Re: Tactical Planning Revolutionized?
Its basically just like paint, witha sweet SC skin. You can have 16 people or so i think connected to one picture. Someone can draw lines and add text and edit the picture, like a telestrator kinda. It also has several icons that you can place all over it, timed beacons, and images for enemy/player postions. It looks pretty kool actually.. the only problem I have is the fact that it only accepts PNG files. I tried to find a GIF or JPEG to PNG converter.. alas I r idiot and could not find a good one

Re: Tactical Planning Revolutionized?
This looks like it does have some poe-tential, after checking it out. We would just need some .png images of the maps (which coudl be done relatively easy). The only fallback - it doesn't really seem like something you could use on a round-by-round basis... and since the CSS gameplay is so dynamic, I'm not sure how deep it's actual use would be. Might be good for working out basic strategies though. TS + this?
