It's true It's probably because they don't recruit nearly as much as the Army though. But statistically, they have the highest IQ rating. Although, they did pick up Jester so maybe they're slacking lately!

SEMPER FI. Jester, God's speed to you on your journey of the few and proud. Oh, by the way the Corp. doesn't have special forces because they can do anything .

Just to clear the air, the US Marine Corps just joined the US Special Operations Command on February 24th (we discussed this here at TG). Before that, the only Marine units that were "Special Operations Capable" were Marine Expeditionary Units, which are, interestingly enough, the units that form the base of projectable power that makes the US Marine Corps so unique in the world. Sure, the Royal Marines might be bad mofos, but how many of them are there? A single brigade? The USMC is comprised of three active duty Marine Expeditionary Forces, each of which is composed of an entire division, an entire air wing and a "Force Service Support Group". There's a fourth MEF, but it's a reserve force. The United States Marine Corps is capable of securing entire nations by themselves and holding them until the US Army and Air Force can come in and take over. That's what the Marines do, and they're damn good at it...

Oh, and the only time I trained with Royal Marines, they spent the entire time asking about where to buy Disney movies, golf clubs and pornos. Great guys, very laid back!

And Jester, I wish you the best of luck!
