Can't find or connect to the server???
Hey all,
well, it seems my effort to give CSS another go is running into a wall. I can't connect to the server!!! I don't see it on my server list...so I try and enter the IP address, after I click connect I get nothing!! LOL....
I'm sure I'm screwing something up...but I can't for the life of me figure it out!! Help!

Try connecting manually. Go into console and type:
connect 70.84.146.85Official CS:S SOPs | Official Natural Selection SOPs | Official Dystopia SOPs | CS:S Development Team | Help Support TG |

try putting :27015 at the end of that ip

ok...a few more questions...What is the exact name the TG server is listed under in the server list in CSS?? I see a bunch of Tactical...blah..blah...blah's...but no server named "tacticalgamer..."
When I try to add the IP address of the server in the favorites window nothing happens after I enter the IP address...and I am adding the 27015 after the address...I don't know what the problem is...
any help is appreciated!!

When the server is open to the public, we show up as :
Note the spaces before TacticalGamer. If you sort your server list alphabetically, we should be easier to find.hostname " TacticalGamer.com - PCS Source"
When the server is restricted to SM's or PCSP's, we change the hostname to
TG PCS *** SM's only ***
Or something similar.

I found it...no problems at all...I didn't realize there was a space before TacticalGamer!! LOL

Glad you could make it. We'll put some stock maps on next time you join us ; it's easier for us to help if we don't have to worry about new maps while we're showing you around.
