Thanks Guys, good to be back. Short and sweet, tense and wild, just the way i like it.

Re: I am off to war!
In Israel, Reserve is not like in the USA. We fight usually for about a month every year, being rotated back into civillian life fairly quickly as we are all now just that, civillians that wear a uniform 30 days a year until we are 35 yrs old.
Remember, everyone in israel is in the military so we all rotate frequently during reserve time, but during our 3 year mandatory fighting time from 18-21, we are in for 3 straight years.

No, but seriously, they need to let you guys do what you are trained to do, kill the enemy, not be a police force. I am so strongly against they way that the politicians have forced the USA soldiers to "fight" this war in Iraq. They tie up your hands. I say leave the damn worthelss ungrateful country, let them kill eachother, and lets all, as one, attack Iran and Syria.
I will lead the charge!

Re: I am off to war!
2 years ago OIF and OEF were totally different...now they are basically the same. I think this for the simple fact is that we are not fighting a nation, were are fighting coward insurgents(in both AOR's). They are one in the same...I agree with Ben...we should let them kill themselves off but I dont see that happening. They will band together sooner or. I think that we needed to nip this on the butt YEARS ago, but since we are such a oil "needing" country, that we were blind to the fact that the West(including Israel) will NEVER get along with the middle east...EVER! As long as there is "radical" muslims, we will never be truly safe again.

Change that to "as long as there are radicals on all sides, we will never be truly safe again".
