Dynamic Pricing. Revisited.

The price for the desert eagle is projected to be $3804.

While that price is absurdly high, I think it will be neat to see how this all shakes out. I suspect that in a few months the prices will reflect their actual usefulness. In the meantime though, we are going to see some WACKY leaps and bounds. Wow...

In all, I think the dynamic pricing is a good thing, in the long run.

However, tonight, i'm mighty sore about the DE price. Ouch.

Oh well, apparently the CS:S community hasn't figured out that the clarion rocks everyone's socks off. It keeps dropping in price. Suckers!

Re: Dynamic Pricing. Revisited.

I dislike the upping of the price of NESSICARY goods, nades and kevlar. I buy those every round before guns. At least defuse kits aren’t on that list, but they should have a vital gear list that isn't changed. Guns I can see, but things that would be needed every round are kind of silly to increase. Glad the PCS server has this feature off.

I'm not sure how I feel about this... I like buying kevlar... but the benefit should accurately reflect the cost, right?

Allthough, it is getting pretty absurd, kevlar is costing almost 2k now.

Re: Dynamic Pricing. Revisited.

This goes to the original thread that I said it was a bad idea. There is no way a pistol can cost that much compared to all the other weapons. There has to be a cap on it that regulates the inflation at which it can increase each week.

Re: Dynamic Pricing. Revisited.

so crazy that you can't spell crazy, eh dirtboy?

yeah i agree, the realism is going a little too far, and since the update, the keys have changed as well, i'm still unable to adjust using the 6 key as for the nades, kevlar, etc...i want my 8 key back...

Re: Dynamic Pricing. Revisited.

Well I dont think they meant only for TG server.

But what i think they should do for the other CS:S players is raise the normal amount of money u can have from 16k to like 50k. This way we can afford more stuff lol.

Re: Dynamic Pricing. Revisited.

the point of having a max of 16k, is so people aren't affording AWPs and machine guns every round

point taken, but nonetheless that's why it was there, before the dynamic pricing was implemented

Re: Dynamic Pricing. Revisited.

OMG! the projected price of the Deagle just went to $7053!!!! That is exactly why that will never be allowed on this server!
