Re: Team Stacking
Yeah thats what i meant, i just dint express it that way. Dont get me wrong PCS are the real deal, but its fun to see non-pcs members play just as well as them.

There's a lot of folks who play on our server that aren't in the TG PCS club who are, in my opinion, just as good as anyone who wears the PCS tag. Me personally, I'd been a member of the TG community for over a year before I was ever invited to become PCS. But, I was invited to become PCS because of the standard of gameplay I hold myself to. Just like anyone else who is PCS. If I had never been invited to be PCS, I would still play by the same standards and just as well as I had ever played. I'm sure this is completely true of every single person who wears the TG PCS tag. What I'm saying, in essence, is that if everyone who played on our server held themselves up to the standards TacticalGamer stands for, then PCS or not, we would all be equals whether we win or lose.

Re: Team Stacking
This is what we hope for more than anything. We have a good crowd now of good tactical gamers. I've seen teams with all PCS players get smacked around before because they just couldn't get a particular plan to work. The point isn't winning it's stretching those tactical muscles and becoming better at it. Eventually you get a game where winning isn't even the goal but rather like a game of chess where you trying to out think the other team with strategy.

The joy of the TG server for me comes when both teams are trying new plans and communciating. I honestly enjoy losing to a team when I can tell they are using superior tactics. I hate losing when it's because the rules are being broken. In my oppinion, there aren't many "superstar" players that frequent the TG server: for the most part the level of play is equal. When things are running smoothly on the TG server the team that is communicating better than the other team will win. No question. If you feel you are on the "unstacked" team start telling the players to not leave spawn until you have a clear plan. I find a long delay will take the wind out of your enemies momentum. Oftentimes if the "good" team is winning they will be communicating less, and just playing by the seat of their twitch skills. Put 'em in their place with a suprising well co-ordinated plan! -Aaron |

![]() Stacked teams do happen, but they're the exception rather than the rule. Given how long some of us have gamed together, I'm surprised stacked teams aren't a pretty common sight. Are we generally fair minded, or are we too lazy to get organised?
