[Version 1.2]
*Movement Speeds (slight changes)
-Reduced speeds with AK-47, MP5, and M4 autoshotgun
-Increased speed with M4A1
-Increased speed of HE, flash, and smoke to match knife
*Misc
-Decreased AWP magazine to 5 rounds (that's the real life size. Suck it up.)
-Fixed HUD ammo icons for AUG and P228
I'm working on adjusting the AUG's recoil but I'm having the same problems as with the SG550.
I might have missed it but did you say if you could alter reload speeds?
Just thinking maybe some day we can get the AWP back if it gets a bit of time between each shot and maybe slow down how fast you can reload it (making each shot still very very important to make).
Not for the Glory. Not for the Honor. For the Team.
I've got a suggestion that would help balance the shottie since it's a bit weaker now- increase the ROF some. I'll look around and see if I can find the record pump speeds for an M3, but something should be done about the "cinematic" slow-mo pump- not so fast that it becomes unbalanced again, just enough to make it feel as if you've got more control over the weapon as opposed to having crazy glue gummed up in it.

I like this. It would make the Scout more useful for multiple targets, and the AWP/AWM more suited to one shot takedowns on individuals- sort of a counter-sniper. I think the reloads are pretty much taken care of though, with such a small magazine size. Of course, that's what they said about the Deagle.
Oh yeah, the M3 should shoot almost twice as fast as it does, even ignoring it has a single-shot fire mode in real life, but it'll look dumb because the animation won't finish.
Same in reverse for making the AWP shoot slower. It'll just sit there after the working-the-bolt animation finishes.
Gotta say, im a big fan so far. The ability for the m4 to drop someone in one shot to the head is so amazing. I also like that the 228 seems to have actually dropped in damage. It felt too powerful before.
The P228 was .357 before, which in reality is a caliber it is not available in. Now it is 9mm, so it does "less" damage (it actually does more because I increased almost all the weapon damages, but it does less damage relative to the other handguns. If that makes sense.)
Priest, I tried raising the ROF of the M3 just to see what would happen and it turns out it didn't work. It must be hardcoded somewhere else. I know I can adjust the AWP though because I have before.

...Aw. Thanks anyway. I'll just try and use the autoshottie more :P
As far as shotties go, it's the better choice atm, and it should be less lame since everything else is beefed up now :P
Edit: I've just has a silly (read: stupid) idea- I know the answer's probably a no... but is there anyway to increase the damage when a grenade of any type actually hits someone? I know the damage of an HE grenade couldn't be changed, but if you think about it, getting hit in the face with a decent chunk of metal thrown by what seems to be a pro football player judging by how far some of these nades can be thrown accurately, should do more than 1 point of damage- I could see it knocking someone out if thrown that hard. Again, silly idea, but still- we've all seen this:
Personally, if I'm out of ammunition on my weapon and my backup weapon, but I've got a peice of metal strapped to me that can potentially devastate my opponent's senses as well as possible harm them physically, I'd probably pull that out before resorting to running at them with a knife. Also: throwing the knife would make more sense, but I'm thinking in terms of what we could possibly maybe do. Maybe.
That picture reminded me of the old west movies where the cowboy being chased runs out of ammo and he throws his gun back at the posse chasing him...LOL!
It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
Things usually unfold faster than...
