Re: Check out my new Bling 32" monitor
That is a VERY nice purchase. Hope it doesn't have high ghosting though :O some nice monitors I know have a huge problem with that.

Re: Check out my new Bling 32" monitor
Based on those specs, it seems to only support relatively low resolutions. You might want to consider that! I have dual 19" LCDs and run them both in 1280x1024, but it looks like your max res on that 32" is 1366 x 768. About the same as 1024x768 + the additional space due to the aspect ratio.

I have a 23inch and its plenty!! I would seriously take into consideration Apophis's comment on resolution, you don't wanna spend that kind of money thewn to get not all out of it that you would like to get!

Re: Check out my new Bling 32" monitor
It seems as though that product is designed more as a television than anything else, with rudimentary computer display capabilities. My big widescreen HDTV does the same thing. I can pump a VGA signal into it, but my resolution is severely limited using it as a PC display.

Re: Check out my new Bling 32" monitor
I gotta side with Apo here. You will want that boost in resolution eventually.
If size was all that mattered wed all have projectors.....right? Though I do love a big tv (60" Panasonic LCD )But hey, if youre happy with it Hogan then great. Everyone to his own. |

Re: Check out my new Bling 32" monitor
Hehe, doesn't matter anyway Hogan, cuz you kill me everytime with whatever you currently have. But 32"?! That's gonna be quite an experience. What's next for you? IMAX?
I may only have a 19" CRT Viewsonic, but I'm rockin the 1600 X 1200 Rez with all my CS Settings maxxed out. |

Re: Check out my new Bling 32" monitor
Well you all can talk it down but I have it and it is phenomenal no ghosting what so ever and for the money .. just awesome.. didnt spend that much at all. And For what its worth I need the larger screen <old man going blind> Ive tried the multiple display route didnt work for me.

Re: Check out my new Bling 32" monitor
What's ghosting, and how do you know if a monitor will have it?

Quote:
Ghosting is when the previous image displayed on the screen can still be seen for moments after the image has changed. For instance, in any first person shooter style game, if you look around quickly, a hazy after image of walls etc will trail the actual image on the screen. The image below shows that effect. And Hogan the new monitor seemed to help you make our heads bigger... Saw a few rounds where you head shot a few people in a row and we didn't even see you...LOL! |
