Is anyone else pretty much in love with the new sound quality on the voice in-game? IT'S SO AMAZING. IT'S SO CRISP. IT'S LIKE I JUST CRACKED OPEN A FRESH MOUNTAIN DEW.

I noticed that too....my immediate thought was those guys that get paid to have like 20 forum identities...simply for marketing...and product placement.... they start threads like

'omg have you tasted the new mountain dew...its delicious!??!'

but they also comment on other threads so as not to arouse suspicion...

I think it is great, really clear coming through and not so much darn reverb.

I would agree, it certainly does sound EXACTLY like a MOUNTAIN DEW can being lovingly opened so that I could quench my thirst with the best drink ever.

If I could compare it to anything, it would be an ice cold, delicious gulp of refreshing Mountain Dew™.

In all seriousness though, it's a VERY welcome change. Most times, I couldn't understand what anyone was saying over the in-game voip. It seemed like it was better in CS 1.6 actually.

I usually game with someone or another on speakerphone, and now they can actually understand and follow what's going on. THANKS, MOUNTAIN DEW!

I'm starting to like this new citrus drink called Vault. I guess it's replacing Mello Yello in some markets. RIP Mello Yellow, welcome Vault.
