Re: A word to the TG community leadership

I think it might be worth taking out certain parts of the stuff he's written and forming up a new sticky in the rules and SOP forum? He's clarified and worded quite nicely more than a few statements that I think a sticky could contain. That or integrate a few of the things he's written into the existing documents.

TheFeniX:

While re-reading my post I can definitely see why you responded the way you did. My post was an objective view alluding to a 45 minute stretch in the server, in which I had a lot of fun. What I didn't include is the good things about the server.

My post is critical of the community you all built. While I posted it as an opinion piece, it offers only slightly constructive criticism. I believe I should have included the fun I had, the nice admins, the constructive play and teamwork into the post to let you guys know that I do appreciate the server.

I only wish I could've been around before last night, in order to see what goes on normally. I most certainly would have posted something much different.

Hindsight is 20/20.

Thanks for the reply.

Re: A word to the TG community leadership

Fenix always comes off as harsh but he really isn't that bad once you get to know him.

Your ideas are good and we know some things could be clearer in the sop's and announcements. Some of them have gone through many changes and others have remained untouched since the inception of PCS by apo.

Yeah...Fenix is like one of those pitbulls that comes growling, barking and showing teeth when anyone get's too close to the fence. Once you're on the other side he's all slobber and rainbows though.

Amusingly enough, I belive the creation of PCS pre-dates CAL by a couple of months!

HOWEVER no matter how much I wrote no matter how well worded it was your "community" still ignored utterly everything I said, and continued with the short sighted "refer to motd and/or sop's which I read prior to my SECOND post.
Your problem has always been you. TG seeks players that understand the concept behind the name. The mere fact that you were trying to find ways AROUND the rules is reason enough to show that you're not the type of player we're looking for. We also have SOPs regarding how to deal with bans and issues, none of which you were able to follow. Your lack of ability to respect others with differing viewpoints also contributed to your eventual banning and removal from the community.

And yes. I do realize that you can browse the site through a proxy. And yes, there IS a way to still identify your source IP even through the proxy.

If you want to discuss the rules there's a method of doing so. None of which you even bothered to look into. And, at this point, I'm not sure anyone really cares what you have to say. So...good luck trying to get banned from future pubs I'm sure you'll be nothing but successful.

Re: A word to the TG community leadership

All this talk about the rules being unclear seems a bit extreme, i found them nothing but imformative and have managed to stick by them rather well if i may say so myself. (although i was threatened by Root of having a test based on them, so i did take care to understand them).

Well formed ideas anyhow (although as you yourself said slightly self rightous lol).

Re: A word to the TG community leadership

well im glad you relized you broke the rules and where in the wrong. Im sorry i just laught at that previous post because you still think that our way of playing is not how css is intended and we are the ones wrong. We actually have plenty of CAL players who enjoy our style and just about everynight the server is full, so im at a loss for why you still think we will fail.

Sniping isnt restricted. It doesnt make sence to have more then one sniper per side, its how a RL squad would be made up.

And you underestimate apo....you really do

I don't know what you did to deserve a ban, but I approached them professionally, respectfully and earnestly and was accepted with welcomes all around(so far). Maybe you just got off on the wrong foot?

And thanks for the replies and welcomes!

Re: A word to the TG community leadership

Why can't these people realize that because it is OUR server, we are allowed to implement rules as we see fit. It's out of our pockets, not yours.

Because they are uber leet and have been doing this for far longer then us and know more then we do and since they cant play how they want on the server they decide to make it hell for those who do.
