SPRAY IMAGES-Need ADmin's "goahead"

SPRAY IMAGES
I searched the boards before posting this =).

I wanted to ask before i started doing this in the server and getting myself in trouble. I doubt I would but anyway, I made a simple spray image to use in CS with the Tacticalgamer logo from the site and the words **MOTD** in big letters and it says wwwtacticalgamercom "respect the rules and people" " have fun" nothing Riske' or vulgar. etc.

Is this ok to spray in game? I didnt see any reason why it wouldn't i think it may encourage people to go to the site and register and learn more about TG and our rules.

Can I get the ok from an admin in here?

Ofcourse it's fine, just as long as it doesn't break the CoC.

Unfortunately Sprays are disabled only the sprayer can see his own spray unless of course it was on the server prior to nov of 06 when sprays were disabled.

I was just using reg CS sprays last night and other people could see them and i could see theirs, like sloppyjoe put up a sloppyjoe sandwich. i am confused. So does the image I spray need to be on the server for other people to see it? if so then its kinda pointless lol for my idea.

I think my answer is in Hogan's answer =\. ah well

Spray's disabled?? I see other people's sprays, but i have noticed some don't appear. People see my spray's too. What's the deal here?

- Toggle the clients uploading their custom decals to the server.
- Change to 1 to allow people to see everyone's sprays

I am guessing those instructions are for Vulcan. =)
If we want to keep sprays disabled this way keeping "unapproved" sprays out of TG server then could I upload my spray if you guys approve? Or could we make a sticky for TG member that want their spray uploaded? I mean i know the purpose of the game is tactics and the gameplay but sprays can also make it more fun which i hope everyone can see.

There really isn't a problem with "unapproved" (i.e. porno and other stuff) sprays because mani now has a spray tracker that lets the admin know who sprayed it. The only problem I see about sv_allowupload is the possibility of cheaters using custom skins, etc.

Yeah its been working since I posted this up. Vulcan changed it. BTW vulcan thank you =). The cheating thing is something to worry about though.
