Re: Why that name Again.

I took the name when I started beta testing City of Heroes with some friends. I made a dark magic defender in that game...thinking of a name for a "dark mystical" type...I settled on Ouija, it has since stuck.

And for clarification: It is pronounced "wee-jah." (Everyone asks...)

Re: Why that name Again.

All right. I'll bite. This is for everyone who loves making fun of my name.

Firstly, xtharosx is from a metal song by a power metal band Rhapsody. If you want to figure out the song be my guest, but it doesn't really matter. This name goes back from my high school days.

Now, onto Poople. It's pronounced like people, except with a "poop" instead of a "peop" if that makes any sense. My friends and I were sitting around with a couple chicks and the topic of pooping came up. We were curious if any of the chicks had pooped that day. (and yes we used the word poop. We are gentlemen after all) Of course they denied it (liars). So whenever we would hang out with these girls we would always ask them if they had pooped. Just to see if they would admit it. Finally, one caved and told us that she did. She didn't stand a chance after that. It was like opening Pandora's box. "Did it smell? How big was it? What color was it?" Just shameless torture. Anyways, from then on we called her "Poop" since she is short in stature and a brownie (Indian)to top it off. Somehow the nickname evolved into Poople along the way and I picked it up as a game name.

So that's that. Kind of lame, but it still adds for enjoyment in the server when people try to figure it out.

It was only after a while I urban dictionaried "Poople" and came up with something very disturbing. In no way is my name associated with that action on Urban dictionary.

See you guys in game...

hmmm... pretty obvious that there's nothing deep here. My dad oddly enough always joked around about "irate pirate". Then the next step was making it ryhme. (I-rate Pie-rate) anyways, I thought it was funny.

I got mine from the Bourne Identity book. And no, Root, not the airlines. Read the book, much better than the movie.

Re: Why that name Again.

My name is Ben because that is what my parents called me AND I think it is important in game to be called by a name that you immediately recognize and respond to.

Re: Why that name Again.

In a community dominated by men, I knew I would stand out ... but I wanted a name to show off my femininity and show that I was dressed for business on the battlefield.

Re: Why that name Again.

I used to go by Sku|| then one day I went on a 17 man KS on a 42 man server and when I died a guy replied saying "Simply Madness" and it stuck ever since.
