Ghost Stalker, think of the way Steam works. If I were antivirus software, I'd think it was a trojan. It opens up connections without the user's permission or even knowledge, it sends secret messages to remote sites from which it also downloads suspicious packages without the user's permission, it makes unwarranted modifications to the registry, and it often prevents games from functioning well (if it allows them to function at all)...
