id love to play any tournment or scrimage i could get into. ive played in one a long time ago with josh....anyway i use the name nameless hero now instead of monkey if anyone remembers me.

You can count me in as well and a Tournament would be unbelievable but there should be some kind of draft and regular teams created. It would make scrims more meaningful as a way for teams to practice for the tourney

Is anybody going to take the time to organize this? All I see are a bunch of people saying "count me in" and nobody saying "Alright, I've got your name on the list".

Well, this has already happened. People are just stating that if another one IS organized, then they would want to join.

I know, just checking to see if someone was stepping up to the plate to make things happen. Nothing worse than a bunch of people running in circles when all it takes is a little nudge to bring the plans to fruition. Like I said above, friday/saturday/sunday evenings are best for me and I'd assume is the case for most everyone else.

Let's start throwing some dates around.

What are we talking here? 5 man teams? Random team selection or fat-kid-dodgeball style? Been so long since I played matches with my old clan that I don't even remember how many people we had in the games.

This is how it happened last time.

Captains were chosen for both the Regulars and the PCS. Those Captains pick from people that signed up on the roster. There are 7 man teams, but one of those 7 is in spectate mode and can switch out with one of their teammates at anytime.

I didn't actually get to play last time due to personal issues, but I think I got it right for the most part.

You are correct!

The scrore keeping was a little different than a scrim. In this case, after 4 rounds the teams would switch and the first team to win 5 rounds was the winner of the first match/map. Once the first map was completed then both teams would go to the second map and repeat once more. The winner of both matches go to face each other and the winning team gets the honor to be called a Champion!

Last time there were two (2) PCS team and two (2) REGS (TG) teams. Both matches were won by the REGS, but the REGS, due to scheduling conflict were not able to face each other.

I had a thought concerning a TG tournament where we draw lots and establish given teams and then have a round robin tourney to decide a champion. It could be a weekly occurrence and need only take the backup server and would allow all the interested members to participate.
