Need help with error...Vulcan????
I keep getting this error:
Disconnect: Pure server: file [GAME]\materials\models\player\tforest\t_guerilla.vmt does not match the server's file..
I get on the server, then about 2 seconds later it kicks me off.
As of now, I've tried deleting the contents of this folder:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\exalted512\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\models\player\Tforest
Both by deleting the whole folder, and by just deleting the contents.
I've also tried the same thing with this folder:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\exalted512\counter-strike source\cstrike\models\player\Tforest
Each time, I still get the same error message. Each time I re-download everything I deleted during start up and I made sure they were in the folders I just deleted them from as well.
And I've gone to steam>>My Games>>right click Counter-Strike: Source>>Properties>>Local Files>>Verify integrity of game cache
After all this, I still get the same error message

Ok, I got it. I was deleting the files while Counter-Strike was still open. I closed out the game, deleted the files in the materials/models folder and it worked fine.

If all else fails, copy your cfg folder and reinstall Counter Strike.
The Meek shall inherit the earth..... after we're through with it!
