Re: dropping the bomb as a strategy???
I've noticed how effective the bomb being down can be, especially when all the CTs sit on the bomb like it's going to hatch something. But, intentionally doing it I'd say is a pretty clear no-no.
The opposite can also be said... if the bomb is down among 6 other T's, I don't think it's very wise for the CTs to come rushing in just because it was spotted down. Odds are it was already picked back up and rushing in like Ramdo is pretty clearly kill hunting at that point.
PS - I'm late on every thread because I check the forums about 4 times a year haha.

Re: dropping the bomb as a strategy???
Your right about when the bomb goes down and there's still 6 T's left thats why i say use all your nades and keep them off the bomb till you get backup. Remeber you can make a differance. Once the bomb is down its a new objective as long as it stays down. Thats when Comms are most important.

Re: dropping the bomb as a strategy???
Just a question.
Map: de_aaa
wut if u are the bomber and are on the catwalks outside at A. You have a teammate down below on the ground outside of the site. Is he bomber allowed to drop the bomb to his teammate for a faster plant, or does the bomber have to make his way down to the site himself and plant?
I did this one time and got yelled at for dropping the bomb :/
i just want some clarity.

Re: dropping the bomb as a strategy???
In my opinion by all means drop the bomb to your teamate. This is the kind of team work you need to get that bomb down. Your not seting a trap your working together to get a faster plant. I would like to know why that wouldn't be ok though.
