I agree with ultima. I understand you saying you can guard the tunnels from anywhere since its a one way road with only 2 exits, however in a way it contradicts yourself. Why push up when you could be just as effective sitting in the back of the tunnel or up the stairs at the CT spawn. This server is more focused on being able to assist your team and not letting them die, if you are pushed through how can you help your teammates if they call for your assistance. On the other hand if you were on your own side of the tunnels you could easily rotate to A or B to assist a team member in need. You're not supposed to be out trying to find out how you can surprise attack the Attacking team on a defensive map, your goal is to prevent them from reaching bombsites, and efficiently you can be a more effective team player by protecting from the back. By pushing up you are defending a route, however you aren't being an effective TEAM player.
