Re: Terrorist using hostages as shields
So 1 hostage rescued, the rest of the hostages die, means a T victory? I don't think it's currently that way on CS:S, but i dunno as i've never experienced that. We should test it just to know. It would be nice if 2 hostages were required for rescue before the CT's could win by hostage rescue.

Re: Terrorist using hostages as shields
That reminds me... Root was smurfing when this happened. I was in the side doorway down longhall on Italy as a T. The CT's ran past me to the house, and I retained fire. There was smoke, firing, and I heard many footsteps, and saw no friendlies on radar. So about 10-15 seconds after I saw the first CT pass I chucked a grenade. Before it was out the doorway, I saw 2 hostages start running into my LOS. Then I was auto-kicked.
Moral of the story? Holding your fire when CT's pass can get hosties killed :P |

Re: Terrorist using hostages as shields
Okay.... Here is what I understand, if the TG servers run a mod that changes this I do not know, what I information I have on this I have gathered on other servers.
If all hostages are killed without any being rescued the round continues until either time runs out or one side has been eliminated. If any number of hostages are rescued and the others are killed either before or after the rescue it results in a win for the CTs. |
