I think it all depends on the nature of the plan that the team is executing. Usually there is either one large offensive team, or two smaller teams. With numbers ranging fron two to eight per team, you should have enough time to check most every, if not all well known ambush locations. Most of us that know the maps moderatley well know where the most popular, and best ambush spots are, giving us no reason to check them. Two to eight pairs of eyes are better than one.

If 7 minutes isn't long enough to check everything AND take the objective, I'm perfectly happy to increase the round timer.
