Re: Gun Jams?
Boosting health is not a good idea, you'd have a lot of people surviving direct head shots. Actually, what I'd like to see tried out sometime is a flat additional -5HP whenever someone is hit by a bullet. It wouldn't change the world, as 5.56 to the headbox would still be limited to 96... huge but not instafrag, but it would increase the value of SMGs like MP5 and FNP90, which like to do silly things like 82 in 6 if you don't get a magic RAND() headshot. With the extra five damage on all hits, that sort of SMG reaming would be lethal, and it'd help on longrangeisloooooooong maps like that snowy city map where I was hit something like eight times with AUG before dying because the damage drop-off was so grand.

Re: Gun Jams?
Woh don't get nutso people More health? More damage? No realism? might as well make it a Dungeons and dragons server. As is the way people get hit in real life just 1 bullet i think would put you in a bad state to be owned.
Thank You

Re: Gun Jams?
I have a close friend who served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is an Army Ranger and Green Beret. Won 3 Silver Stars, 2 Bronze Stars and 1 Purple Heart in service of his country. When I showed him this game the first weapon I bought was an Aug, and these are the exact words out of his mouth. "Great gun, good balance, but nobody used it because it liked to jam on you." And Gill if you use Jacketed Soft Points in that M-4 within 200-300 rounds watch out for lead building up on the feed ramps. http://www.tacticalforums.com/cgi-bi...;f=78;t=001244

Doesn't matter to me, I never use that weapon. The only bullpup style weapon i use is the FAMAS.

Re: Gun Jams?
Automatic and semiautomatic weapons do indeed jam. It can be a myriad of things...but it does happen, and no particular brand or make is exempt.
Thats why my stainless S&W .357 revolver sleeps under my pillow...no matter what, its going to fire when I need it to. The same cant be said without a shadow of a doubt about my SIG, Ruger, or Glock.

Ouija doesn't realize that they didn't give him real bullets.

Hahahahaha
Crazy sniper lady
Onto the point...
Wouldnt this require an entire engine to determine whether the gun jams
Such as dirt getting into the.......area that jams
And besides most guns in CS:S fire from a closed bolt
(aside from the M249)
So jaming is extremely rare
Although they heat up fast.......
which idk if that causes a jam

Re: Gun Jams?
You really are into necromancy. All these freshly buried topics... Anyway, my view is we already have people complaining about lag, ghost shots, bull crap spray, horrible hitboxes, weak guns, and lucky headshots. No need to add another one onto the list.
