Mod in works that will suit TG :)

Checkout this modders, they are supported by Crytek.

Looks very promising in a TG perspective.

Yeah, I was actually gonna mention this. It seems very PR-ish. One thing I'm interested in is "bullet-spin," ie, you get hit, you get knocked down/spun.

Thanks for dropping by our forums, Tactical Gamer is exactly the sort of audiance base we are targeting for Obsidian Edge 2, while the server admin flexibility should make it appeal equally for those who like faster paced action.

Hopefully you guys will like what we produce.

@Anospa: The bullet spin was something we had to bring from OE1, but this time around it will be enhanced for more realistic effects. We are looking to make the game as immersive as possible, we want you to feel the tension of modern day combat.

I am on the Obsidian Edge Mod team with Cuz above, and have actually spent a lot of time running with the 1stMIP TG squad in PR.
I am sure OE is going to be of interest to you! ;-)

Wow, quick responses from you guys! Makes this even more exciting, can't wait! I'm pretty stoked about the map editor coming out this month too, definitely gonna get back into mapping.

Afraid we wont release till 60-90 days after Crysis which currently puts us in Q1 2008...

i hope you dont mind me asking, but how much support are you actually getting from Crytek? Knowing them, i assume you get a good deal.

When they are good they are very good...

The community will get some excellent documentation to support the Sandbox2, much better than the initial support that came with Far Cry.

Wow, now thats awesome. I remember the quake 3 tools, they were pretty easy/good, but at times was hard to find tutorials for what you were searching for.
