Trank 'em. Though I don't think you can grab them while they're unconscious. Cloak works good to pick up people, drop 'em in a boat quickly, then trank them.

Re: Demo Discussion
The effects for it are crazy. Boulders flying all over and small mushroom cloud, but it doesn't really do all that much damage. Shooting it into one of the checkpoints, I would expect that checkpoint to be history and everyone inside it, but no. It does alot of damage, but going from the effects, everything and everyone should be toast within a large radius and they aren't.

Re: Demo Discussion
Today I tried the demo again, but at the end where you go through the rock gate and meet 'the guys' I stayed as far to the right as possible, then crawled under the ship to the other side. There was the monster killing some n-koreans and flying to the right. You can follow it for a while but then the game times out and restarts the demo.

marstein: How? I tried staying as far right as you could go but it goes to the cut scene before you can even get around the rock.

Re: Demo Discussion
You can do this "hidden" bit by loading up the Sandbox editor, moving behind the frozen ship, and pressing Ctrl+G to go into game mode.

Re: Demo Discussion
Generally, if EA is even slightly involved in a game, you can expect things like the entire script being in the demo and such. Like when the CnC3 demo came out, it was supposed to only be GDI and you could only play against Nod. Except.. it was incredibly easy to just pick NOD anyway and try them out too. You could even select the scrin, but you automatically lost because their MCV-ish building wasn't in the game.

Tearing structurally-superfluous new behinds with high caliber weapons since 2006.

Re: Demo Discussion
Yeah, you could hover mouse over Nod team (greyed out) hit N and click on it. EA certainly do have a reputation for that sort of thing...

Re: Demo Discussion
This game is so amazing, the Cryengine will be better than the Unreal Tournament's engine in so many ways.

Seems Nvidia hasnt figured out how to make better performance with my cards on SLI, and I didnt notice any difference between 32bit and 64bit. I'll be upgrading at the beginning of the year to the newest High ends, because getting sub-par high end leaves me wanting more.Oyee

Re: Demo Discussion
Crytek didn't enable SLI in the demo.
