well i was thinking the same thing but from wat i hear gforce 9 comin out in feb. so ill just chill on the 8800 gts for a few months thne up grade next summer and readly my self for the new battlefield

Wonder what it 's gonna cost and how it 'll perform compared to the 512 GT... I bet you only need this for high resolutions.

Just received news from the shop where I got my X1950 Pro, they 're giving me 225€ for it while I bought it for 240€ in januari. This means I 'm getting an Asus 8800GT tonight, for about the same price, talking about a cheap upgrade

.

Can't wait to get back to PR, been over 5 weeks now... and I 'll finally get to play FH2.

EDIT: Here we go

... the PSU and the second GT is for a friend.

Just got my 8800GT to replace my dead 7900GT and it's definitely an amazing card. I wouldn't call the 8600 crap, it's cheap and about the same performance-wise as the 7900gt, which IMO was an amazing card which I'd still be running if it hadn't died a slow and painful death...
