I'll go with 1UP on this.
Waiting on Yahtzee tomorrow, too.

I generally trust gamespot the most, as ive almost never disagreed with them. Generally, anything above 9 is a must have, above an 8 will keep you interested for a few weeks, and anything under 8 isnt worth buying. Also, they managed to use the word eponymous in their review. Thats amazing.
Personally just gonna get it for Christmas. Will be a long wait.

Can you even run the game, I mean even on low? Tell the real Santa to get you an 8800GT to go along with Crysis.

Specially when the review is the one of the most poorly written reviews I ever seen. I have to confess I havent looked at 1UP for reviews that often. In my humble opinon thats not a review its some kind of rant. How do even 1Up allow to publish a review on a AAA title like Crysis that is writen so poorly. And he suppose to work for the Games for Windows Magazine. Strange.

I ran the single player demo fine. In order to play with decent frames I had to have everything on low, but i was able to manage it on medium but performance hurt a bit.
According to systemrequirementslab.com i pass all minimum specs, but for recommended my geforce 7800, 1 gig of ram, and CPU arent good enough for all the pretty pictures.
EDIT: REAL SANTA? Are you trying to imply something, blasphemer?

Santa should have the 88GTs Holiday edition with Crysis included, its the flagship game and some will have Crysis included...

Re: Crysis - Reviews
I uninstalled my version and waiting for the release here in 5 hours. I got to the part in the game where you are supposed to use the TAC launcher and it wouldn't work. Hopefully, I just wasn't doing something right, and it's not a bug.
One bug I did find is sometimes if you launch the last missile in the missile launcher without it being zoomed in, sometimes you don't drop it and you can't pick up another launcher.
Anyway, I stand by my rating. 98%. For single player, the hype is real. I wasn't on the MP beta. I have hopes, but from some of the MP comments it's not looking like what I would be interested in.
One thing I would like is a harder setting. Delta is the only way to play this game and it's tough, but not that tough.

Yahtzee's off on holiday for two weeks I think.
So we'll have to wait until he's back to hear his opinions on whatever unlucky game happens to pass him by.
