Hello to all,
It seems that the most important setting for the graphics in Crysis is: SHADERS If you do not know what this is, search the WWW and you will find out. You will find this option in the in-game menu: Options -> System Settings -> Advanced. The graphics of this game are based heavily on the use of shaders. Shaders can make Crysis look like a photoreal-super-special-effects-wow! game, but also can push your entire system to death and send your FPS down to Hades. In the many experiments I have done, none of the other graphic settings has this tremendous effect on performance and on optical quality that the shaders have. As I mentioned previously, Crytek developed the game with heavy use of shaders. The problem is that ANY setting lower than High, make this game look like all the other modern games we currently play, or even worst. So beware !!!, tweak your system according to your taste and overall performance capability, but take into serious consideration the shader settings. And a tip for those who have nVidia 8800GTS GPUs: use the new beta driver, it helps a bit. See my post on: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/839468-post13.html Regards.

Re: The most important in-game graphic setting
Ya, I noticed this on the bit-tech review a while ago. There's good comparison shots in that article.

Re: The most important in-game graphic setting
Just off topic here but I was browsing some sites on Crysis and all of its potential that and I found this site which has a couple comparison pictures.

Re: The most important in-game graphic setting
I had a problem on the demo like that where Prophet shouts 'go go go', Aztec jumps and then Jester appeared in front of me and jumped out. Evidently he used his cloak too soon.
