Desktop icon
OK I loaded the game but it didn't create a desktop icon. Where and what do I need to make a desktop short cut? I'm currently just inserting the disk to start the game. Oh I now use Vista64. Thanks,

in your games folder... and you can copy/paste it to your desktop also.

I don't get why Vista does not create a game icon on the desktop. Some games will create shortcuts under the "Games" folder. Start menu > Games.

If i'm not mistaken I think I found it plus the Editor Icon which you can create a desktop shortcut for either. If you Direct Downloaded the game you might want to check http://crymod.com and look for a forum about how to install the editor, or something along those lines.
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin32
Your's may not be in the "Electronic Arts" folder.
