Obsidian Edge is "On the Move Again wwith new SDK

SDK 1.2 has been out for a while now, but I've completely forgotten to post this up, I thought someone else might have.

Obsidian Edge are "On the Move Again", which is good news. hopefully they can get this mod made now...it's about time Crytek got their ass in gear, everyone's been waiting for this for a while.

So you TG guys who think this has potential, don't quite thing this potential will be lost just yet...OE is putting up a damn good fight.

Nice to see we are not forgotten amongst the gamers our mod is targetting.

Its been a long and painfull winter, but as you say, others finally have their act together allowing us to proceed.
Look out for some exciting announcements in the next few weeks

A lor of guys have left the very small Crysis community, but there has been hope for your OE2 mod pretty much ever since the game came out to improve the online play.

And yh I might take you up on that offer

Grats on getting everyone together again, Great to hear you guys are making progress again, I know this mod will make the online play for Crysis worth buying the game for.

Aaaaah, the day when I can play Crysis draws ever closer... I will be keeping an eye or two on this mod.

Hey guys, the pleasure as always is mine; its always easier to post in mature and receptive communities.

Also dont forget that we are still looking to recruit Level Designers, so if anyone here at TG is an experieced Level Designer, familiar with SB2 and can produce near commercial quality work, please hit us up at our site. (cant insert link I need to spam here some more :P)

Yeah, its a real blow for us the time its taken to get the tools we need...
To a dergree having the Pre-SDK was like getting a Porche for your 18th Birthday, but not being able to drive it until you hit 21...

We recognise that its going to be all that harder to establish an OE for Crysis community now, but we think our next update will give a hint of what we have to offer.
While some people have been turned off by Crysis MP, there are over 1 Million copies of it on the streets and I am sure we can appeal to some of those users...

A few more months and we get the new gf cards that can run crysis on very high. (GT200 and 4870)

Some bad times last week. Hackers got into our site and tore it all up. Our lead coder worked nonstop to get the forums back up, but the front page is taking awhile and is probably getting a fresh look as well.

I am actually working on a new progress report news release for the mod. Hope to have it out next week.

And to the post above, we are actually aiming to make the mod a lot more playable than stock crysis. Will still look amazing of course, but just be as smooth as possible for more people.

Just letting everyone know things are still moving forwards.

Oh wow Bamboo, knew you were a really tech guy but had no idea you were part of the OE2 team (unless I really badly just misunderstood your post...).

Sorry to hear about the site man, but nice to see you're also making developments. Hopefully it will be out when I get my new system so I can dive straight into the mod.

It's awesome to see other TG'ers ready to play OE2 xD
I've been waiting in the wings, too. I pre-ordered crysis on the basis of thinking Obsidian Edge 2 was going to be released around the main game release date! Oh well, I'm still waiting patiently and will hopefully upgrade my computer more by then

The mod still looks amazing from what you've given us so far. Such great work.
