Crysis Warhead Announced!

I just saw this info on www.crysis-online.com;

A new game, Crysis Warhead has been announced by Crytek and EA. It is the paralell story to Crysis.

In Crysis Warhead, players will don the Nanosuit of Sergeant Sykes, also known as ''Psycho'' , one of the most memorable characters from Crysis. More brash and aggressive than his Delta Force squadmate Nomad, players will experience Psycho's parallel story during the events of the original game, finding that life on the other side of the island is even more intense and explosive than they ever could have imagined.

There will also be more weapons and vehicles for Psycho to use:

More news should be coming this summer, and the game is due to be released this autumn.
I wonder if this will be another 'ready when it's ready' game. But, better a good game late than a bad game on time.

Well the owners of crytec said that they were not going to be making PC games anymore because of Bootlegging or Pirating games. So I doubt this will be on the PC more like Xbox,PS3 type of deal.

Thats pretty wicked, although im a little disapointed. At the end of the SP they are going back to the island to meet with Prophet...They leave you hanging!!! I dont want to know about Physco, what happened to Phropet and those thousands of aliens that were flying AWAY from the island....actually im really disapointed.

PC gaming people love to hear this. Let more companies that make bad games move over to a console-only format.

Heh, well, like everyone else, I was very disappointed in Crysis, but will more than likely end up checking this out. I just hope that more of the action deals with humans than aliens. They weren't very fun, hard, or overly cool.

Yeah the aliens just screetched alot and jumped up in the air with hang time. I liked grabbing the mini aliens and punching in their faces!

I'm definitely going to be picking this up. I mean a new "enhanced and optimized version of Crytek’s CryENGINE 2 technology.".

That just screams come buy me for all the map/mod lover's.

Perfect, I was afraid it was going to be a sequal with Alien only.

This and the surprise from ATI with the 800 shader processor in the new 4870 due out in two weeks is just kick ass. Add the next total war game and the time has come for PC gamers to show the console fanatics whos your Daddy.

Now we just need Battlefield 3.

The 4850 is now out and it kicks serious butt for 199. 4870 is suppose to be 30% better and cost around 299, it will be launched this week, then we have the 4870x2 in August.

Now give me Warhead, DOW2 and Empire Total War. Good times are here again. Now we just need BF3 to be annonced.
