Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
Meh.
If it was policed strongly and we ran sometime of limiting mod, I think it could be very fun. Powerstruggle, in theory, is an incredibly cool gametype, but I really have yet to play it and see the playerbase make it worthwhile.

Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
I don't think it could work. Power struggle hardly lends itself to team communication (only one VOIP channel per team I think). I think we should wait until a good mod comes out that fits in better to TG.

same deal with counter-strike and other source games and it works just fine here.

Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
As I've said before in other "would you be interested in a X server?" threads, it's always worth the experiment. Even though some consider the MP flawed, I find it to be very innovative both because of its scale and gameplay. With a dedicated admin team and one well-advertised night to get people to try it out with a large population this could be fun TG-style. Plus, the game is more or less objective-based, and lends itself to teh TG style of play.

Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
I would love a crysis server.
It's not the game, it's the players that lack teamwork, imo.
We have the right type of players, we have the brand, I think our server would give a safe haven to people who feel other places lack teamwork and the population would build.
I also think it's a good idea to get it up and running even if we only have a modest base of players. Warhead is out in a month and the popularity will soar for at least the beginning. If we had a stable community, even if small, then we would have something in place to build upon.
Whether it becomes PR popular is questionable at the moment, but I definitely think we can keep it PoE popular and we have a server for that ;\

Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
If there was a TG server for Crysis I would play on it. I don't play Crysis multiplayer at the moment, as I feel the level of teamwork is not that great. maybe we should wait until Warhead is released, as the new 'Crysis Wars' multiplayer might bring some more TGers to Crysis (especially the ones who were worried about system performance with Crysis.)

You mean a server like this?
I'm kind of surprised. 17 players on right now and I just quietly put it online a couple nights ago to play with the configuration.

Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
Well, I'm letting a friend borrow the game at the moment, but I'll get on it when I get it back.

Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
Tried to join it today and it's still at version 1.1! Awaiting an update to the server I hope comes soon.
Either way, this games likes comrade so you can add me on there as TG-Vulcan.

Re: Would you be interested in a Crysis server?
Oh, it needs an update? I guess a ton of people are still running 1.1 with all the activity its been getting!
I'll go fix now.
