    Crysis Warhead = Fun..

    Really..for all the BS about Crysis and Crytek and performance and such... Crysis Warhead is a fun gaming experience. I haven't finished it..but the suit rocks... and just getting a feel for all the options and ways to accomplish a task with the suit is half the fun.
    I haven't tried the Multiplayer mode yet... but I guess that could be fun also.. maybe...

    And as far as performance I am playing it on a 9600GT and seems smooth as glass.. and very pretty. That is using the Mainstream settings and 2xAA...

    PD did you ever play Crysis?

    Both crysis and Warhead are great SP campaign games, alot of potential in both those games... I loved both of them till I got to the alien crap, which kinda ruined the tactical aspect for me.

    MP is another story... right now, Crysis Wars, is buggy, disconnects, lock-ups, and lag issues... when you do finally get into a steady game, everyones running around looking for guns and usually gets shot before they find one...great potential for MP, but in the current state...terrible.

    I read in one of your other thread, that you didn't like the SciFi aspect of the game, in reference to the aliens. The entire game is completely SciFi, Nano technology, nano robots entering your blood to give you extra speed/strength? how can you not expect aliens?

    I personally loved the switch to the alien aspect it seemed to to be a very natural progression. I really didn't notice a huge difference in the gameplay once the aliens were introduced, except I didn't have to cloak, run through the woods, recharge, repeat ad nauseum.

    Nano whats? Sci-Fi who? I assumed it was a "MAGIC Suit" and this was a Fantasy RPG... Grr... Advertisers..!

    Obsidian Edge is still moving fellas, Don't know the ETA on the Beta but I'm sure it will be amazing.

    Hey Magnum, I always sorta felt the same way about the aliens in FC and the first Crysis, but ended up playing through anyways. This time around, in Warhead, they are actually pretty fun to play against and not as annoying as they once were in terms of stupidity etc.
