Re: do we have a server for this, free weekend?
that's weird, I thought up until last night we had a crysis server up. I wonder if it crashed. My friend's looks like it crashed, but he probably won't wake up until middle of Saturday. I have played on the [IMP] 24/7 server. That seems to have some rules changed that a lot of people like, like the vtol is 2,000 or something to prevent spamming, and it's dx9 but has day/night cycle.

Re: do we have a server for this, free weekend?
I'm having a nightmare of a time with the server. It's not behaving on the machine I have it on and I can't get the game itself to run on my machine (Vista 64 Ultimate). I'm going to try switching the server to another machine and see if that helps at all but this whole experience has been a nightmare so far.

I have had no problems running it on my XP Pro 32 bit.
Have not tired it on my Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
Dual boot FTW

I wouldn't think there would be any problems running it under Vanilla Windows XP. Unfortunately I don't run XP any more and I'm not about to dual boot my machine unless it is to swap between Vista 64 and CentOS5.

Hmmn, CentOS, looks good. Can you load games on it with something like WINE.
I actually have a triple boot (XP32 for games), Vista 64 Ultimate, and SUSE SLED10 (what we use at my office).

Re: do we have a server for this, free weekend?
I had hell just getting it installed on my Ultimate x64 machine at home..it all had to do with the stupid EA Manager software..had to D/L it and install beforehand, then install the Warhead Game and then the Crysis Wars game, but now it seems fine.
Having to launch the online game from the gamespy "Comrade" is the pitts though..
