ok, so heres the deal:

my friend got Crysis warhead at some gaming store that had some sort of promotion and gave him 2 cd keys, not one, and offered to give me one of them so i can play. dont ask me why or how, all i know is that he has two keys. but he only has one cd for it. so my question is, can you play this game without the cd, and is it like Company of heroes where you need the cd if you arent connected to the internet, but if you are, you dont need it?

btw, is this game any good? im really into tough MP infantry battles- i dont do vehicles/SP.

the MP version called crysis wars does not need a CD. The single player version I'm pretty sure needs it though.

now,is there a mode that you can play against bots? so i can practice before going online with others?

you would have run your own server to do that afaik.

oh.... ok....
i guess it will be then trial by fire... i just hope that it is pretty much the same controls as BF2142...
